Every year we are delighted to welcome fifty new students ready to embrace the art of dressmaking to the Centre Bianca Couture for a three-year training course. For the 2023-2024 school year, we are proud to have 165 passionate learners, with 32 of them already on placement, ready to put their skills into practice. Of these learners and trainees, 16% are internally displaced girls, demonstrating our commitment to supporting those who need it most.
In June 2024, 66 of our students sat the Professional Qualification Certificate exam, and 55 of them passed with flying colours, achieving an exceptional admission rate of 83%! Those who did not pass will still receive the Maison Bianca Couture diploma, and will not have to repeat the training. Since its creation, the Bianca Couture Centre has enabled 402 girls and women to successfully complete their training and become self-employed, opening their own private sewing workshops. We are deeply proud to contribute to their success and to see them flourish in this wonderful entrepreneurial adventure!
