The Bianca Centre had the incredible opportunity to take part in a call for funding from Burkina Faso's Maison de l'Entreprise as part of the dynamic BRAVE Women Project, supported by the Islamic Development Bank. Denise, the promoter of the Bianca Centre, received advanced training in Business Management using the GERME method and in Business Management in times of crisis. Thanks to this training, she received invaluable support in drawing up a business continuity plan.
Thanks to this support, an ambitious investment plan was launched, aimed at acquiring sewing equipment to a total value of FCFA 6,600,000 (around EUR 10,000). The funding was provided in the form of a cost-sharing grant: Denise contributed FCFA 3,300,000 (around EUR 5,000), and the BRAVE Women Project matched this amount with a donation of FCFA 3,300,000 (around EUR 5,000). This May, the Centre Bianca was delighted to acquire seventy (70) sewing machines and ten (10) cutting tables, turning its ambitions into reality thanks to this exceptional support!
