Bianca Couture Centre
The Bianca Centre is a vocational training centre for tailoring with a CQP (Certificate of Professional Qualification) recognised by the Ministry of Sports, Youth and Employment. The Centre trains widows, girl-mothers and otherwise vulnerable women.
AREAS OF INTERVENTION
COUTURE CUTTING
We support young girls as they learn to cut and sew, giving them the skills they need to create quality garments. This programme empowers them, stimulates their creativity and helps them find employment. Thanks to rigorous training, our learners can start their own sewing business and improve their lives.
WEAVING
The Bianca Couture Centre's weaving programme offers comprehensive training in the creation of traditional and modern fabrics. We support young girls as they learn weaving techniques, enabling them to develop high-quality handicrafts. Thanks to this programme, they are prepared to enter the job market or start their own business in the textile industry.
DYE
The Bianca Couture Centre offers a complete training course in dyeing, enabling young girls to acquire fabric colouring techniques. This programme opens up new perspectives in fashion and decoration, while emphasising environmentally-friendly practices. Our graduates become capable of creating unique, handcrafted products.
SOAPS
As part of our soap-making programme, we train young girls to make handmade soaps and cosmetics. They learn to design natural beauty products, creating entrepreneurial opportunities and a positive impact on their communities. Soapmaking is a profession that combines traditional know-how and innovation, and opens up many career opportunities.
