The Bianca Couture Centre continues to act as a refuge and springboard for young girls and women affected by the security, social and economic crises. Over a period of three years, the centre trains young learners from disadvantaged backgrounds (orphans, widows, single mothers or internally displaced persons) in sewing, weaving and dyeing. Through appropriate teaching methods and human support, the beneficiaries acquire not only technical skills, but also new self-confidence, the ability to take the initiative and build an independent future.<\/p>\n
From June to November 2025, the centre continued to operate with rigour and commitment, despite dwindling resources and growing needs.<\/p>\n
CQP and BQP examinations <\/strong><\/p>\n Between 2 and 5 July 2025, 98 of our trainees (68 in their final year and 30 in their 2nd year) successfully took part in the Certificat de Qualification Professionnelle (CQP) exam. On 8 July, the official results came in: 96 of them were declared successful, marking an exceptional pass rate of 98% and a source of great pride for the Centre.<\/p>\n In the same vein, 35 former trainees from the class of 2022-2023, who already held the CQP, sat the Brevet de Qualification Professionnelle (BQP) exam.
