Recruitment and headcount for the 2025-2026 school year

As in previous years, the recruitment of new apprentices took place before the start of the new school year. This took place on 2 October 2025, in line with the national calendar. The Director of the Bianca Couture Centre took the opportunity to welcome all the learners, sending messages of motivation, advice and best wishes for success in the 2025-2026 school year. The breakdown of staff for the new year is as follows:
- First year: 32 learners, including 27 new recruits and 5 repeaters;
- Second year: 33 learners from the first year. This number was lower than forecast (46), mainly due to the introduction of compulsory payment of tuition fees;

- Third year: 26 learners, all from the second year. Here again, the number was down on the expected 49, due to financial constraints and the fact that several candidates who had passed their CQP 2025 chose not to continue into the third year.
These figures highlight the need to step up support for vulnerable learners, to enable them to continue on their path to full qualifications.
