The 68 third-year learners who completed their training in 2024-2025 have embarked on a two-phase internship programme designed to enhance their practical skills and prepare them for the world of work.
The first stage, from July to September 2025, took place at the Bianca Couture centre. This in-house training course enabled the girls to apply the skills they had learnt, by creating a variety of models and cuts, thus promoting technical mastery in a safe environment.
The second phase, launched in October 2025, took them to external professional workshops. This three-month immersion, in direct contact with customers, dressmakers and suppliers, enables them to discover how a workshop is run, customer relations and the realities of the job in the field. It's a key step towards empowerment, giving them the tools they need to eventually create and manage their own professional space.
